I can't remember a time when I wasn't in love with taking photos. I remember "photo sessions" with my friends in junior high. I would just snap away at them laughing, talking on the phone, being silly...anything. I wanted candid, raw photos. And that desire has stuck with me...the desire to take photos that capture people as they truly are. I believe that people should be captured in the most natural, photojournalistic way.

My love for photography and flair for design led me to a degree in Agricultural Journalism from Texas A&M. With a degree emphasis in publication and design, a passion for design was sparked in me as well. From stationery to digital albums, the chance for any type of design just makes my day. With these two passions deeply rooted in my soul, LP Designz was formed.

I am so blessed to be married to my best friend, Matt. He has an artistic

eye as well and is my second shooter for weddings and sessions. I am so blessed to have such a supportive and talented husband by my side. We welcomed our first child, Brody Layne Palermo, in January 2008. He is such an angel and inspires many photo ops! We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our second son, due in July 2009. The Lord has truly blessed our lives together and we look forward to what He is bringing in the future.

I am located in the Bryan/College Station area in Texas...capturing the Brazos Valley, Houston, Beaumont, and Beyond. *I am originally from Lumberton

(Beaumont area) and travel there frequently. I would be happy to cover your event in this area.
